Ranting and Another Easter Quickpage Freebie

I am extremely annoyed right now. It seems someone has breached my 4shared account. Files have been downloaded at least twice that I didn't have legal permission to share and I am not happy about it. One set of files was a gift album I had made for the person I CT for using her A Man's World Kit and the other two were my Christmas cards from last year. If you see someone with these Christmas Quickcards can you let me know? I had it set to not show my files during searches and didn't even have these folders shared because they were only meant for one person yet when I checked it today I noticed that these files had been downloaded two or three times. OK - Rant over. However, please accept my apologies that I now feel I have to password protect my files.

I decided to make you a quickpage from Fishinmom's new kit - Eggtastic. Aren't these colors just beautiful? You can't see it in this quickpage because I cut it out for the photo - but there are several papers that if you cut them in an egg shape - they really have the color and look of an Easter egg. How cool is that? The password is Easter.

Here is my page I made from it. I did this one backwards. I usually make my layout first and then make my quickpage from that but I was having so much fun seeing what I could do with Kimberly's kit I didn't even think about a picture until I had the page done.

Hope everyone had a great Easter.

I have a busy weekend planned. I get to do all the multimedia for our annual youth retreat for work - 300+ teenagers and some very long nights the next few days! Please say a prayer for our retreat and for me. I have had a few minor health issues I am recovering from so I am little worried about having the stamina to get through the long nights. (And having insomnia most of this week certainly isn't going to help.)

Have a blessed weekend.

Easter Quickpages

Seems I take way too many pictures and I want to scrap them ALL! For instance, for baby girl's first Easter last year, I just scrapped four pages of her with her Easter basket! Probably a little excessive, I guess. Because I am a shutterbug, I like multiphoto layouts. This doesn't seem to be as much of a trend with digiscrapping as it is with paper scrapping. What do you find yourself scrapping more - single and double photo layouts or ones with lots of pictures? Feel free to comment and let me know.

I have two quickpages for you in a minute but I wanted to show you Fishinmom's adorable Easter Kit. The bunny is too cute!

Here are two of the layouts I did with it (part of the four for baby girl's first Easter):

See, I told you I take too many pictures! But my guess is if I hadn't kept snapping, I probably never would have gotten the center one in this layout, which I think has a really cool perspective.

Now on to the your Easter presents . . .
This is from Easter Peter by JanniScrap Designs.

I think the background paper is really great in this kit. I had to use it for my mats too I liked it so much.

And this one is from Egg Hunt by Anita Designs. Anita posted the most beautiful tribute to her husband on her blog this week. Please continue to remember her in your prayers.

Baby girl really loved her Easter eggs. She didn't even care that they were empty!

Have a wonderful Easter.

Atta Boy QuickPage

Nothing like a little insomnia (and some nudging from a friend too :D) to help you get things done. This quickpage was created using Atta Boy by JanniScrap Designs. I really like the color combo in this kit. Perfect for those fun boy layouts. There are some really cute worms in the kit too. If you missed it as a subscription, you can still pick it up in her store for $4.50.

Here is the layout I used for the quickpage.

Enjoy!

A Question for You . . .

I mentioned in my last post that my friend and I taught a class on getting started with digital scrapbooking. I prepared 20 or so pages of information as a handout for our class and was thinking about sharing it on a blog (either here or a new one). It included information such as things to consider when choosing a program, printing options, price comparisons for photo lab printing and book printing, etc. (Things I would have like to have known when I got started, basically.) Do you think that would be something that would be useful or has it already been covered enough on the web? Comment and let me know.

Have a wonderful weekend and if I don't make it back before then (been working way too many hours this week), have a wonderful Easter celebration.

Quickpages coming soon . . .

Just wanted to drop you a little note to tell you I will hopefully be able to get some quickpages up for you soon. I have had a couple of major projects at work so haven't had any "extra" time I can steal away for my digi-addiction. Although one of the projects was preparing for and teaching a class on digital scrapbooking - which was pretty cool. Thanks to the couple of you that responded with their ideas. They were very helpful.

My Grandma is doing amazingly well. Praise God! She celebrated her 75th birthday on Saturday. We still don't know what the treatment will be for the heart issue as they won't be able to move forward with this until the blood clots in her lungs are resolved. Thank you for you prayers.

Please be in prayer for Anita, her husband of 41 years passed away unexpectedly a few days ago. If you have a moment, stop by her blog and leave her some love.

Blessings!
