Belinda Quickpage

Julie. It is. has a cute, girly new kit called Belinda which I have been playing with. I am working on two "I-can't-believe-I-took-that-many-photos-of-your-first-year" baby books for my children so I am always looking for kits that will allow me to get more pages scrapped in those books. I so wish I was exaggerating about that statement. I have the photos somewhat organized and laid out for the pages and it looks like just under 200 pages for him (his first six months I didn't have a digital camera) and about 300 pages for her book. I have about 130 consecutive pages done in each book (you can see those here if you are really bored right now) and probably another 20 or so just here and there in the mix of pages. This is supposed to be page 202.

If you like it and want the whole kit, you can get it at Plain Digital Wrapper.

And just because I like you (and because Julie said I could) - I turned the page into a quickpage for you.

Link Expired.

Julie also has a coordinating freebie to her new kit on her blog so you will want to be sure to click on over there and get that too.

PS - If you came here from Digifree, you may want to check out my previous two posts as I have two quickpages available over in the Color Palette Challenge at Hummie's World too that didn't make it on Digifree since they aren't directly on my blog.
Have a great scrap-filled weekend.

I'm still here . . .

Sorry I haven't had time to make any goodies for you. I have been busy planning and getting ready for my daughter's second birthday party which was this past weekend. It was a family party in WV (since that is where the rest of my family is). If you need ideas for an Elmo party, feel free to check out My Ramblings blog to see what we did. Now if I could only find something to scrap the party with . . .

While I was traveling, I had a few hours to play on the computer (don't worry - hubby was driving at the time) and did manage to complete the Designer Technique Challenge for September at Hummie's World. However, I got so caught up in finding a picture for that challenge that was about all I got done. You know how it is, you just want to keep looking at all those photos on your computer and forget why you started looking in the first place. I also played with a little treat for you for Halloween but am still working on that so still no presents. I know you are so disappointed in me! I am too. I will try to come up with something for you soon.

So have you figured out how to do those Out of Bounds photos yet? If not, you really should head on over to Hummie's and check out this challenge. Here is what I came up with.

The frame is from Mini Verdant by Andrea Dickinson (part of the challenge so be sure to grab the mini kit freebie it is in first). Everything else is by, you guessed it, the talented Julie. It is. from her Oh Boy Kit.

Quietude

I got another page done for my nature album today. This was a photo I took when baby girl and I went for a walk during our camping trip last weekend.

I used the new kit by Julie. It is., Lady of the Lake, for this one. You can get her new kit at Plain Digital Wrapper.
Be sure to head on over to her blog and check out the coordinating freebie mini kit too.

Do you have ever have nights where you just don't have the energy to get up and go to bed. I am having one of those nights. Even though I know I will just be even more tired if I don't just make myself get up and go upstairs to bed (and that my daughter will be waking me up before six a.m. regardless of how late I stay up), here I sit trying to entertain myself on the computer and not really even accomplishing anything I am so tired.

I did get another page done for my nature album earlier tonight. Still not sure about the quote on this one. I may change it later if I can find one I like more.

I used Ladybug Pages new kit, Love Actually for it. Love the blues in this kit. I wish it had been available when I was looking for a kit to purchase for my SIL to do her Wedding in.
Wouldn't this kit have been perfect for her wedding photos?

I made this layout last night. This is the quickpage Posting Bonus for my Themed Quote Challenge over at Hummie's World this month. The quickpage was created using Hummie's Heritage Kit.

The theme this month is Grandma. All you have to do is create a layout using a quote about grandma (or your family word for the same). Sounds easy, doesn't it? It is! Plus Grandparents Day is right around the corner so what better way to honor Grandma than to feature her in a layout. Well, what are you waiting for? Click on over to Hummie's World and check it out.

You're still reading? I thought you were headed over to Hummie's World? Feel free to stay a while and check out all the other fun challenges while you there. If you have ever wondered how to do those layout where it looks like the subject has jumped right out of the frame (Out of Bounds), you will want to be sure to check out the new Designer Technique Challenge this month featuring the very talented Andrea Boyer (Boyerville Scraps). Andrea has a tutorial for you on how to do this and even a freebie kit (preview below) with a cool frame to use in your layout to get you started.

Make sure you read the tutorial all the way to the bottom for a coupon too.
